One day a young couple came to see us. They were in their mid twenties and both of them were mainlining on heroin. They were living in a rented apartment and had, that day sold their TV and were about to sell the sofa, their last remaining piece of furniture, to support their $200 a day heroin habit. They were both desperate. They wanted to get out of it but could not break free from the bondage they were in. A patient at the girl’s mother’s place of work, noticing how upset she was, had recommended that the couple come along to us.
It should be noted at this point that we are careful to ask the Lord to allow only those He wants to come to our house. The young lady's mother was a Christian. Out they came. They were a miserable pair.
Both of them wanted desperately to be clear of their bondage. After some talking they both accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives as Savior and Lord. They confessed their addiction asking forgiveness for it. We took authority over a demon of heroin in both of them, casting it out and they were both completely set free. Next we asked the Lord to remove any withdrawal symptoms in Jesus Name so that they would know that it was the Lord who had done this great work in their lives.
The Lord Jesus had set them free without any withdrawal symptoms.
Off they went changed, now with joy and hope.

The husband got a job and they continued to serve God with their lives.
